Is it fair to say that the entire point of the Jim Crow Laws was to create a society identical to the one that existed in the Antebellum South?

Basically, is what I stated in the title correct? Or is there much more nuance than that?

I would say there is some nuance. I think that the South realized that a return to slavery was impossible. The creation of a society "identical" to the antebellum society was not the objective. I would say the objective was to create a society "similar" to the antebellum society.
