I was taught in history class that the French attacked the English baggage train during the Battle of Agincourt and killed many young English boys. I can't seem to find much about this anywhere online so I was wondering if someone could shed some light on this.
Some of the servants, pages, and guards in the baggage train were killed by the French rear attack. However, it seems that relatively little damage was done. Some of the reports of the value of loot taken in the raid may have been manufactured in order to rescue at least some French dignity following the calamitous defeat. Casualties and overall damage from the raid certainly weren't enough to significantly impact the course of the battle.
