How did the average russian react to the dissolution of the USSR in 1992?

by Mathbou94

From what we are thought, the dissolution (or collapse) of the USSR is seen as a victory of capitalism over communism. This is obviously biaised. How did the average russian react to the annoucement of the dissolution of the USSR? Was it well received? Seen as a defeat? As progress?
