Like the title says why was there so much hate for the soldiers after the war ended and even during the war. While in other wars like WWII there did not seem to be any hate for the soldiers that came back. Even in more recent wars like the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan where there was a large amount of dislike or hate for the wars, there did not seem to be hate for the soldiers that came back. I could be totally wrong in my assumptions, but from personal experience I have not seen much.
