Following the implementation of internment camps in WW2 were there any instances of Japanese espionage or sabotage on the American mainland?

My friend keeps making the seemingly ignorant and unresearched argument that following the use of internment camps in WW2 there were no or very limited instances of Japanese sabotage or espionage in the continental US. I'm curious if this is true or not? And your opinions if this was more of a correlation without any causation.

Not only was there limited sabotage in the continental US, there was limited sabotage on Hawaii as well-and while a significant number of Japanese Hawaiian residents were interned, a large majority were not. In effect, this seems to suggest that the lack of sabotage was independent of any internment. I talk about this a bit here.
