No, the Waffen SS had no serious military air or sea components and were indeed a strictly ground fighting force.

In the case of air, the Luftwaffe was Herman Goring's domain and an attempt by the SS to develop an air combat wing would have been seen as infringement by Himmler, and thus blocked - and I'm not aware of any attempt or even discussions on the matter.

In the case of the navy, the Kriegsmarine had little enough to do as is, so there was hardly a need for a 'secondary' navy, which in any case would be of little value and simply overcomplicate things. Again, I'm unaware of any attempts or even discussions within the SS of trying to acquire a naval component.
