Watching Gods and Generals, specifically this scene, I notice that Joshua Chamberlin's company is equipped with the Pattern 1853 Enfield. (The Enfield can be, in part, told from the Springfield by the color of the bands and barrel, with the Enfield having blued banding/barrel.) Generally, the North would have been armed with the 1861 Springfield, but not always. The scene in questions occurs close to the beginning of the war.

Hence my question, does anyone know with what weapon, the more normal Springfield, Enfield, or perhaps the Lorenz, the 20th Maine was issued? As a side question, does anyone know of any records showing what many of those soldiers (20th Maine) ultimately ended up using later in the war?
