During the cleanup of Chernobyl Reactor No. 4, were there any reports of people cleaning the roof falling into the reactor?

During my research about the Chernobyl cleanup operation, I understand that Liquidators were sent up to the building roofs to clear the radioactive dust and debris off of it after the Soviets tried and failed to use robots. Was the structural integrity of the roof compromised at all, and was there a real risk of people falling into the open reactor core?

The roof that is frequently mentioned is the turbogenerator hall roof. The open core is several meters above this level, so they could not fall into the reactor.
