How were British prisoners of war treated in Nazi POW camps?

Generally not too bad. Both countries had signed the Geneva conventions and the Germans had no racial hatred against the Brits. About 3.5 percent of all British POWs died in German captivity compared to 25% in Japanese captivity. The death rate of German POWs in Britain was still much lower though.

On the other hand, almost 60% of all Soviet POWs died.
