I am 20-something year old from Serbia, and from the talks from my elders I get the story that Tito was some heroic figure back in the SFRY, but then again he on some articles on Wiki I have read that he was great Leader beloved by nation, but on the other hand he was a dictator. And have gained a mixed feeling about him.
The main question is this: Was it really that great in SFRY under his rule? Was he a good guy or the bad one? And why did SFRY breakup "shortly" after his death?

Not a valid question, historical figures, and even people in general don't necessarily have to be put in either box. The world is complex, and I think Tito really is a character about it which it is perfectly okay to have a mixed feeling.
