So I just got a new mountain bike. It's a Santa Cruz and it's model name is the "Nomad." its a badass bike. Full suspension deal in a bright orange color. I want to name it after maybe one of Genghis khans horses or something. Does anyone know where I could find some names of horses ridden by some nomadic horse tribesmen or something like that?? Preferably horses that were ridden into battles/conquests ! If someone could point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it!
In the Persian epic poem the Shahnameh, the hero Rostam has a famous stallion named Rakhsh. (The Shahnameh isn’t historical, but it was immensely popular in the Middle Ages throughout the Middle East and Central Asia.)
Not exactly nomadic, but the first that comes to mind is Bucephalus, Alexander the Great's horse.
