Did Julius Caesar work out?

From reading "Life of a Colossus" and all the other material out there, the guy was clearly very active at dictating letters building his prestige. Did he have any regular fitness routine? Did Romans patricians in general participate in athletic training as adults similar to the types of gym routines modern humans concede as beneficial but frequently ignore?

Quick follow up. In Adrian Goldsworthy's Caesar, it's mentioned that Mark Antony wore his toga short to show off his powerful thighs.

So...was the guy busting squats in between Parthian defeats?

I don't know of any reference to Caesar's fitness regime, but there are a few references to fitness and weightlifting in ancient Rome out there. In particular, I recall a passage from Ovid where he complains about the noisy banging of lead weights by the muscled men in the baths.
