North America does not follow the European style of division of history into Antiquity, Middle Ages, and the Modern Period. So specifying a specific date range would be useful for any replies.

North America is also very large, it is a continent after all. It stretches from the Arctic in the north to present-day Panama in the south. So there is no conceivable way to write about the entire continent in even several posts without greatly reducing history to a few scant details per area.
