I have heard repeatedly here and elsewhere that medieval combat didn't look very much like how it is typically cinematically portrayed, and I am wondering whether there are any realistic cinematic portrayals out there? I am very curious to see a depiction of what things would really have been like.
These aren't direct answers really, but since there's no comments after 4 hours I thought fishing for past posts might give a starting point
