Animal farm attempts to retell Trotsky's idea of the Russian Revolution and for people not into Trotsky this book read like a satire on Trotsky idea of himself as the benevolent piggy Snowball and of Stalin as an that evil swine Napoleon. Stalin was well aware Trotsky was writing books and those books got banned in the USSR. Trotsky himself got assassinated via icepick by the spy Ramon Mercader before he could finish his biography of Stalin (who to the American pupils is mostly known as piggy Napoleon).
