There were 3 ancient civilizations (at least ) in India, China, Egypt.
While some myths have a basis in fact, the stories of a world wide flood would have disrupted (if not wiped out) the centers of culture/commerce/civilization that existed around 2400 BCE.
Do the records of the three above have a gap at the same time that could be explained by a flood, or are the records not complete enough to make such a determination?
There's always room for discussion, but perhaps the section Flood Myths Around the World from our FAQ will answer your question.
Without getting into the flood or such things, I'll just point out that you won't be getting Chinese writing as far back as 2400 BCE. The Shang Dynasty oracle bones are about the oldest examples of Chinese writing we have and those don't date back much further than 1200 BCE.
