It's "A People's History of the United States Lite." He compares contemporary history books used in public schools and then shows how they gloss over or downplay negatives while glorifying whatever they can. It's nothing earth shattering, but its a decent read and it shows specific examples of actual, in-use textbooks and how they are not completely accurate, so if you want to argue with your kids history teacher, its probably a good book to have.

Is it accurate? No more or less than any other well written book. I didn't see any glaring errors and he's got some 70 pages of notes and citations if you want to follow up. Do note that it's a lot of secondary and tertiary sources being compared, so don't expect any historical insights beyond the idea that most textbooks are flawed.

All in all, I enjoyed it.
