JSOC? Almost certainly not. JSOC's primary mission almost since its inception has been counterterror. If there were plans (even exceedingly hypothetical ones) on the table for operations against China, JSOC could conceivably be tasked with 'operational preparation of the battlespace', which is a nice tricky term that allows for a lot of flexibility in regards to Title 10/Title 50. However, there are likely other agencies better prepared for this mission than JSOC, given its current focus on the Middle East, SW Asia, North Africa, and the Philippines. Lastly, JSOC and all of its actions fall under the 20-year rule and aren't quite ready for academic history yet (also usually classified).
