One of the problems is the fact that the majority of the scholarship is in German. A cursory glance at the catalog of my university library (large uni with a big medieval focus) reveals a single book in 6 pages of search results not in English, a translation of Dollinger's The German Hanse. There's this, https://www.worldcat.org/title/england-and-the-german-hanse-1157-1611-a-study-of-their-trade-and-commercial-diplomacy/oclc/22952664&referer=brief_results. Lloyd is good and it's a little newer. I'd try that one.

Edit: Found a couple more searching for Hansa in the library system instead of Hanseatic league, but still lots of German books.
