There were no differing punishments for crime as far as citizens were concerned, and we can really only begin to speak of "class," even today a poorly-defined concept, in the Roman world in the context of the citizen body, non-citizen freemen and slaves simply don't fit in the same way. Any Roman citizen would be punished for a particular crime the same way, regardless of social class or wealth.
