Was there an increase in racism against asians? Did Japanese internment prevent that? How was their involvement perceived on a political level? Did they see China as just a Soviet lackey?
I think a better question would 'How did North America/Anglo sphere react'. Canada seems a bit too specific. Unless you're asking for school or something, in which case I apologise, but if you're asking out of curiosity, it could be a little better worded.
