That would depend on what you qualify as being the 'inspiring' elements. In my view barely any modern (i.e. >1750CE) revolutions have built specifically on the ideas and interpretations of republicanism that were current in the American Revolution of 1776 or the French Revolution of 1789. I'd be happy to go into more depth on this subject, but would like to have the question formulated somewhat more specifically. Overall its broadness is really inviting, but unfortunately does not allow me giving you a to-the-point answer from my field of expertise.
