Hello I'm doing a "round table" project in a history class my topic is "Quebec & Constitution" so far the "round table" questions I have come up with are as follows: 1.If Quebec were to separate from Canada what would the result be? 2.Why did separatist/sovereigntists believe that Quebec should be its own country? 3.Was prime minister Brian Mulroney just in creating the Meech Lake Accord and letting Quebec be recognized as a “distinct society”? Did he offer too much just to get Quebec to sign? 4.Is Sovereignty dead and why? 5.Why did Bloc Quebec call a referendum in 1995? why did it fail? 6.What were the causes of immigrating of francophones had during the time of separation?
Can you tell me what you think for each and if there is anything I should change. -Thanks
Hello there. As your question is related to school work, we just want to remind you, and any potential respondents, that our rules DO permit people to ask for help with their homework, so long as they are seeking clarification or resources, rather than the answer itself. This policy is further explained in this META Thread.
Additionally, while our users may be able to help you out here, we hope that you also will take the time to check out our six-part series, "Finding and Understanding Sources", which should hopefully prove to be helpful for you as you continue in your research.
