The Doolittle Raids are trumpeted as striking fear into the hearts of Imperial Japan. However, the bombing was a one-time thing (until much later in the war), and did very little damage. Did the Japanese (the citizens, military, and government) actually care about the bombings? If so, how much did the bombings affect them?
