I don't know of any battles that took place inside a industrial mine, but the use of mines (or tunnels) to set large amounts of explosives under enemy lines were used by the British fairly extensively during WWI. You may be thinking of the mines laid against German positions along the [Messines](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mines_in_the_Battle_of_Messines_(1917), and specifically Hill 60, which is the subject of the Film "Beneath Hill 60."

Other than this, there are a few other places where mines were used against enemy lines, but I do not know of any battles that occurred in an industrial mine. After a quick look, this was the only other thing that I could find on any sort of combat near an industrial mine. Hopefully someone else may have an answer.
