We recently found a family tree for our German line. It includes numbers for each person listed on the tree, which is what I believe these numbers reference, but the tree is sealed and dated with something that looks official, and the seal includes a swastika. Can anyone provide context as to why this tree might have been prepared, and why it looks like it was officially stamped/sealed?

Another forum had the thought that government employees would have had to prove their Aryan bloodline to a certain degree. One or more of the individuals on the tree worked for the government, so if that requirement is true, that might be a possibility. I've also read about the law passed in 1933 that encouraged Aryan population increase, so I was curious if this might be due to that. As far as I know, though, we wouldn't have anyone who would have expected children around 1936.

I also have photos of my great uncle in German military uniforms at that time - would they have required this?
