There does not seem to be any relationship with the Sassanid and the Gupta that I've come a cross, other than trade in the silk road. However it is important to note that the silk road relied on several traders in-between nations so the the two nations never had a direct relationship. Nevertheless Gupta India provided several products on the Silk road such as spices which would have inevitably gone through Persia or the sea trade routes in Farse.
