So, it is extremely difficult to find information about this object. You do a search on Google and all that comes up is conspiracy-like websites trying to claim long last advanced civilizations.

The most likely explanation is that this head is a previously unrecorded Monte Alto culture sculpture. The Monte Alto culture dates roughly from 1800 BC to 400 BC and slightly predated the Olmec. Most of the sculptures associated with the Monte Alto culture are the so called 'potbelly' sculptures (Thompson 2008) which depict a person with a fat or enlarged gut, usually with the navel depicted, and arms sort of encircling the belly. But the Monte Alto culture also produced giant stone heads. They are not the same as the Olmec colossal heads and I'm not sure on the relationship between the Monte Alto heads and the Olmec people because the dates for the stone heads are not secure, but nonetheless they did produce giant stone heads. Unless someone is able to re-rediscover the head depicted in the photo, we may not know for certain if it is a Monte Alto head or not.
