During the Russian Civil War, the Allied Powers of WWI provided funds and troops in support of the White/Anti-Bolshevik forces. Did any nations support the Bolsheviks in a similar way?

I have also read that Lenin was only able to return to Russia from exile because of support from the German government, particularly Ludendorff, who wanted him in to sabotage the Russian government and get Russia out of WWI. How accurate is this and to what extent did they help Lenin?

Well, for a brief period of time, in early 1918, the Allies supported the Bolsheviks as well as the Whites. In March 1918 British soldiers landed at Murmansk with the approval of Lenin and the local soviet. The French ambassador, Noulens, promised support against the Germans. However, the signing of the Treaty of Brest-Litovsk that same month ended any chances of Allied-Bolshevik cooperation.
