Muladi is a Spanish form for muwallad. These were native Iberians who converted to Islam. Some descendants of mixed marriages were also known as muwallads. So they must have looked like the Spanish of today - and so must have looked the Moors and Saracenes, being of largely Arabic and Berber descent.
