I'm doing an assignment on ww2, and my topic is...well, in the question title itself. My teacher has requested that I use primary sources, but I can't seem to find any. Can you point me in a general direction, or help?
trove.nla.got.au includes a digitised archive of Australian newspapers. Use the advanced search to filter by date. I think that's a good starting point. It also includes letters. I haven't looked at those but they might possibly be useful as well.
