Where I work I have a lot of time to listen to books (audio books) and after listening to 1984 and A Brave New World, I've become more interested in history and political theories. So which book or books would you suggest? To clarify: Nonfiction.

If you're looking for nonfiction, one of my favorites is Alexander the Great by Philip Freeman.
For Fiction, A Confederacy of Dunces or Catch 22 might be good for you.
What topic(s) are you interested in? I'm a second semester grad student studying American history (particularly American religious history during the revolutionary era, however I am studying all periods from 1750 to 1945), so if anything is of interest to you, let me know.
