Executing servants for little reason was generally not considered a good idea because trustworthy and skilled servants are useful and valuable. Executing a servant for a significant crime, such as treason, then yes, but if you mean executing someone because they were two inches taller than the King, then no. Are there any examples of these stories you could provide?
