The bottom one screams Victorian wallhanger, particularly the tip of the blade and the "fuller" on the blade.

Top one is a French bayonet, looks like for a Chassepot rifle. Middle one's Japanese, of course...I rather hope it's not something special, because the blade really does need to be cleaned and polished.

Also are there any markings on the blade of the Japanese sword?

To add to Ratagar: the markings would be under the hilt, on the tang. And it would be worthwhile to get it looked at: don't know much about Japanese swords, but there is a very big range in value for them, and you should find out.
