I was watching the tv show „The musketeers“ recently and D‘artagnag mentionens that he has a small income via a farm in Lupiac, Gascany. The show itself plays out in Paris. I have heard similar claims in other movies and shows. Now Lupiac is (according to google maps) a six day walk away from Paris. How can he get his income? Does somebody deliver it to him? It’s not like there are bank accounts. Who would deliver it? I can imagine how that works if you are super rich. But how does that work if you are not? Is that even realistic? I tried googeling it. I also look into to the FAQ but that didn’t really work out for me. I hope somebody can help- Thanks.
