Did the natives in North America domesticate any animals besides dogs?

Within Mesoamerica, Natives had also domesticated the turkey and muscovy duck and the Maya of Mayapan were on their way to taming deer in the Yucatan before the city was abandoned due to internal fighting between noble families. I recommend check out America's First Cuisines (1994) by Sophie D. Coe for more information on not only animals, but plants. It's a little out of date, but still a fantastic resource.
