Hello, I'm doing a project on the Mayan Creation story for my Mythology course, and in according to the Kekchi traditions, one of the hero twins, Xbalanque marries a daughter of the earth deity. Problem is, I can't find a name for him/her, can anyone help me out?
Do you have a little more information about the specific source for this? There really isn't one set of Mayan deities, so any information would be helpful. Q'eqchi is helpful to narrow it down because a lot of these deities vary by region, but a time period and a specific source would be helpful to narrow it down more. Unfortunatley I'm more familiar with the Maya of Mexico, but someone else might be able to help you better if you provide that kind of information .
