I know of a few books that may be of interest to you; Adelman. P & Pearce.R's (2005); Access To History: Great Britain and the Irish Question 1798-1921. This is a textbook used by British A-Level History students. Other books you may like Kee.R (2000): The Green Flag: A History of Irish Nationalism which talks about Anglo-Irish relations from circa 1600 - 1923, Also check out English. R (2007); Irish Freedom: The History of Nationalism in Ireland the latter two books also have fairly detailed bibliographies for further reading recommendations :)
