These are my grandfather's medals and the only ones I haven't been able to identify. I know he was in the Army: Korean War, WWI and WWII. Any help with these last four medals is greatly appreciated!! http://vibatorium.com/rex/medals.jpg
The left three appear to be variants of the French unofficial battle/campaign medals listed here.
The one on the far left is the Verdun Medal.
The next one over is the [St. Mihiel] (http://www.gwpda.org/medals/frenmedl/unofficials/Mihiel-o.jpg) Medal.
Next is a variant of the Chateau-Thierry Medal.
The far right medal is a Veterans of Foreign Wars Medal.
I'm not sure about the others, but the second from the left appears to be a St. Mihiel medal, which apparently was an unofficial medal created by the eponymous French town for the Allied forces that helped liberate it in World War I.
Edit: The first one appears to be a Verdun medal, also unofficially awarded after creation by the named city. It appears to match the original design. The third appears to be a Chateau-Thierry Medal.
Basic question, but which Army? Those are not American awards. That will help narrow things down a bit...
