I'm looking for French Revolution books. I've already read the books and resources list and decided to start with a book that (surprisingly?) isn't there: Oxford History of the French Revolution, by William Doyle and then go with French Society in Revolution: 1789-1799, by David Andress. Then I came across Furet's Revolutionary France, 1770-1880 and Interpreting the French Revolution and read that they're great books.
What's the deal with Furet's work? Why isn't he mentioned here?
