I'm looking to read Baburnama "Memoirs of Babur". Which English translation is best?

This is the Autobiography of the founder of the Mughal empire, Zahiru'd-din Muhammad Babur Padshah Ghazi.

Any other recommended reading for this empire would be great!

The Annette Beveridge translation is a classic, but is older, and definitely a little denser than the Dilip Hiro translation. The latter is cheaper, but is also quality in my opinion. Hiro's translation works with the language to present it in English, and is worth checking out if you're interested in the subject.

EDIT: Wheeler M. Thackston might be a good one because it's also his ownn work, whereas Hiro's translation is mainly focused on abridging Beveridge. I have not read Thackston's version, but it seems like searching for his work is one of the better options out there.

Thanks for the info! I'm going to go for the Thackston version, sadly not available on kindle.

I know it's not really the idea behind this subreddit, but does anyone know where I could buy a .mobi of this version?
