Almost everyone has heard the story of Moses and the plagues that god the almighty sent down from heaven to show his magical powers. But are there any stories or artifacts about how and why the Hebrews were able to leave Egypt when it comes to the Egyptian side of things?

The gist of the answers are that outside of the Bible we don't really have any evidence that the Exodus actually occurred, and we certainly do not have any Egyptian evidence, archaeological or historical that it was an event that was registered by them.
