Is the infidelity 100% proven or just hearsay?
Hiya folks!
So far, of the 47 comments^1 in this thread, the mod team have had to remove 42, and one of the remainder is a mod warning. As much as I'd love to tell you it's because we're a censorship loving Cabal, it's unfortunately because this thread has attracted a truly staggering number of terrible posts, including a smorgasbord of posts asking about deleted posts and various posts alternatively complaining about the absence of answers, posts complaining about those complaints, and a few people complaining about the unstoppable will of the Cabal /r/AskHistorians mod team.
Please keep in mind that /r/AskHistorians is not /r/Shareyour$0.02. We have strict rules regarding the quality we expect from responses here, namely (in this case) that they be in depth, and they are not speculative.
To take a few examples of posts that are not suitable here:
Tangential Tiger Woods Quotes. This in no way contributes to actually answering OP's question.
Sp00py allusions to the connections of the great and powerful This threatens to unveil the inner workings of the Great Cabal again fails to contribute in any way to answering OP's question.
Ladies and gentlemen, before posting, please stop to consider whether you can respond to the standards that /r/AskHistorians expects of its contributors.
Failure to do so will have consequences.
Finally, please keep in mind that resistance to discussion of oppression moderation policy is best avoided in-thread. If you wish to discuss moderation policy and/or send us flaming dog poo,^2 please do so in modmail or create a [META] thread.
Thanks!
Edit: So, in what can only be described as staggering irony, I suck at censorship. Apologies for not fully blacking out the names in those screenshots, that's now been corrected.
