i have heard of treaties in the usa and in canada. i have never heard of any in mexico.
You might be interested in my answer to this question on colonial Mexican land tenure and reform, especially the first part. There existed royal Spanish mercedes (grants) to traditional indigenous land rights instead of land cessions.
One main difference to the US/Canada beside the nature of land tenure was the high degree of mixing between Spanish and indigenous people following first contact, which I talk about in this post.
