Are "The Arabs: A History" and "Hezbollah: A Short History" accurate histories?

I'm looking for the most accurate histories of the Middle East.

If you're referring to Augustus Norton's Hezbollah: A Short History, yes, I would put it in the top tier of books on Hezbollah. Rogan does go over Hezbollah in his book, too, but Norton's is much more comprehensive.

If by the first you mean Eugene Rogan's book, yes it's a very good l recent history. I don't know about the second book, but I would consider any 'short history' to be giving up on details. Rogan's book covers the rise of Hezbolla in the 80s and is probably your best bet for an introduction to Hezbollah's history.
