Hello, I apologise if this is the wrong place to post this, but I couldn't figure out where the best place to post would be. I have already made a post about this in /r/travel, but I did not receive the answers that I desired. I am planning a trip to another country this summer (preferably Europe) and I am not sure what the best country to go to would be. I am very interested in morbid things, things related to the occult, morbid folklore (Swedish folklore is amazing), medieval torture methods, serial killers, gothic influences, abnormal psychology, and anything obscure or related to what I have listed. I have been on the website Atlas Obscura, and I absolutely love it. Plenty of the things listed on that website interest me and stand out to me. More specifically the Island of the Dolls in Mexico, a Satanist Bible of sorts, and many, many museums on gruesome subjects such as abnormal medical sciences and medieval torture. I will only be able to stay in one general area or country. I have considered Sweden/Scandinavia, Scotland, and the Netherlands. My dream is to be able to take hikes in the woods and find things such as ancient occult ritual sites, statues of the sort, presumably haunted houses, and anything that pertains to what I said I am interested in.

When I made a post in /r/travel (which is in my post history), I received a few replies that interested me, however, those replies consisted of one place. I need to find an entire country with many places like this.

Some of the replies that interested me included Catacomb dei Cappuccini, Aokigahara, the burning ghats at Varanasi, and Sedlec Ossuary. All of these places grabbed my attention and interested me a lot, I would like to visit them all, but I am afraid I will not have this chance again for a very long time.

If anyone here has any suggestions or maybe a different subreddit to post in, I would appreciate it a lot. Thank you.
