Accuracy and origins of this "Common slang in the 1920s" graphic from /r/funny?

by Toubabi

So I just saw this image posted over on /r/funny and there's some disagreement in the comments over the accuracy of the time period given (ie Betty Grable wasn't famous in the 20s so obviously wouldn't be referred to in slang speech of the time). I was wondering if someone here could weigh in on the time frame and overall accuracy of these slang terms and maybe give some background on the origin of some of these terms. Thanks so much!

Edit: Here's a link to the comments on /r/funny

The hair styles are 40's period. Betty Grable was a star in the 40's. Certainly not 20's slang.
