I'm trying to put together some research about the Relationship between Tanganyika, Zanzibar, West Germany, and East Germany between independence and the late 1960s, and I've found plenty of secondary sources, and a wealth of newspaper articles, however, I am struggling to find primary sources from Tanzania itself. /u/Commustar , /u/EsotericR , /u/profrhodes could you help guide me towards something?
You say you have newspaper articles. Are these American/british/Western newspaper articles?
Have you looked for Tanganyikan newspapers? the BU library has some Tanzanian newspapers that would cover 1964. Even if you can't get it directly through interlibrary loan from BU, you might look for libaries/archives nearer you that have those newspapers on file.
