I'm looking for sources on the expansion of college and university campuses in the United States following WWII and the introduction of the GI Bill. I'm particularly interested in the levels of new construction that, logically, must have occurred on these campuses.
I've tried doing a search on Google Scholar, but I don't think I'm using the right search team combinations. If anyone could point me in the right direction, I would very much appreciate it.
Are you looking for large national level studies or more individual narratives about individual schools?
I suspect there might be a few of the former out there, maybe on JSTOR, but the latter is probably much easier to find. I know the good sources for my Alma Mater(Virginia Tech) and I suspect many other users flair or not could for theirs.
