Hello historians, today i have a question about one historian :)
I'm thinking of buying a book about japanese history. This wouldn't be the first japanese history book I buy, so I want to be sure it's valuable. The book is about the Takeda Clan during the Sengoku Jidai and it's written by Terje Solum. I just want to know if any of you know him and if you know if he writes well and if he is a good historian. I would appreciate any information you have, thanks.

Just popping in to say, I can't find any reference to him at all so I would be cautious when reading his material - that's not to say that it's not worth anything though. I'm certainly not familiar with his material, although I'd happily delete this if someone else who has does come along :)
